A sweeping Statement: Animation showing female figure sweeping in the sky
Artist Usha Seejarim’s animation entitled ‘Sweep’ was seen from the streets and freeway of inner city Joburg during Art Week Joburg and the FNB Joburg Art Fair between 1st and 15th September 2016.
This public artwork is an animation made from a series of 281 drawings which depict a female figure that was seen sweeping across screen from right to left high above the city on ABSA’s lumen screen.
