We had our first informal gathering at ASACSA around one of our celebrated Southern African Art legend, Sam Nhlengethwa. Sam has been with us in residency for a month and we were able to share on Monday night with the local community some of his journeys. Kei Mac Gregor, the son of the great Chris Mac Gregor made us the honor to join us prior to his trip to South Africa, his father’s country. Jazz is definitely at the party in Saint-Emilion. It will even host its own Jazz Festival towards the end of July and Sam will still be with us in the heart of the city surrounded by a few blue notes…
