On Saturday the 6th of January, we got together with MC2a and “ L”Usine Végétale ”to celebrate the new year and to prepare for the exhibition “FUSIONS” which will open in Bordeaux at “ L’Espace Saint Rémi ” on the 30th of January within the framework of “ La Semaine des Afriques ” generated by the “Institut des Afriques”. SAFFCA and AFSACSA are participating with works by Pauline Gutter, Themba Khumalo, Benon Lutaaya, Nelson Makamo, and photographs by Andrew Tshabangu and Mario Macilau. One can see at the “ Rocher Palmer ” some more pictures part of the work Andrew engaged in during his residency at the end of the last season at AFSACSA in Saint Emilion. This exhibition opens today and runs until the 4th of February. The synergies in between the various initiatives are converging into powerful and fertile multicultural and intercontinental artistic conversations. Dalila, Anne-Flore, Stephanie, Lise, Marieke, Véronique, Clémence, Guy, Clément, Mohamed, Christian, Jonathan and Laurent joined Pierre for lunch in St Emilion.
