Villa Arcadia | At Hollard, art is in our blood.

At Hollard, art is in our blood.

Last week Friday SAFFCA had the unique opportunity of Gordon Massie taking them around the campus of Hollard as well as showing them their collection of mostly contemporary South African art.

Villa Arcadia known as one of Parktown’s original “grand old ladies” houses some of South Africa’s most important artists and works of our generation. The variety of works truly embodies the fact that  At Hollard, art is in our blood. Thus a huge congratulations to the Hollard team, the collectors and most importantly its curator.

Below you will find works from a range of different artists such as Stanley Pinker, David Koloane, Jane Alexandra, William Kentridge, Mandla Vanyaza and many more..

In addition to this you will see some images from the tunnels at Hollard by Lebohang Motaung and many more. As well as some images of the The Creative Block project.

“The Creative Block project are not just grafted on to what we do, in the usual corporate way. They are an intrinsic part of who we are. Whether Hollard is involved in creating art, buying it, selling it or enjoying it, we see its potential to bring artists, consumers, businesses and collectors together in a way that creates better futures for everyone.” -Taking from Hollards website
